Eye of the Storm

Dark paranormal fantasy

for the call of the wild in us all.

Set in the Surrey Hills, England

IMPORTANT NOTE
Although this series deals with romance, it is not written to be a standard romance. Its focus is on the theme of man vs. beast, and higher consciousness vs. baser needs. Although humorous in places, this series is also sexually explicit, dark, and contains violence and scenes that may disturb some readers.

Short descriptions are given below of all six books in the main series, plus the side stories that bridge this series with the one to come. For complete blurbs and details, please see the author's website, or read the info and reviews on Amazon.

Releasing the Wolf

Lydia Martin has always had dreams of a sexy, muscle-bound man who speaks like sin and smells like sex. She blames her overactive imagination, coupled with a higher than average libido. But one night, she finds him in her dream, chained to a wall and screaming in pain. What unfolds is beyond even her wildest imaginings, as she's sucked into a dangerous and deadly world she never knew existed... (This is the first book in the series and is freely available to download at most eBook retailers.)

Cry of the Wolf

The full moon is a week away, and although Lydia is excited to run as a wolf for the first time, she is also fighting to keep her independence among the three males that have come to rule her life. However, the testosterone surrounding her is the last thing she should be worrying about. Her family bear truths about her heritage she's not ready to face. The past never stays buried for long...

Heart of the Wolf

Lydia grows closer to her three mates, but with unrest all around, she struggles to keep her wolves together. Ryan takes a trip back home, but at what cost? Lawrence is encouraged to return as Alpha, but no one knows his secret - can he protect his pack? Meanwhile, in Egypt, Amil is pitting himself against his inner-beast to find salvation, only to realise much more is at stake than his soul.

Return of the Wolf

The full moon has been and gone. Ryan's old pack from Wiltshire have ensured the Surrey pack's immediate safety from The Trident, but what will they demand in return for their protection? As Ryan battles with his own past, Lydia and Lawrence heal old wounds, Selena desperately tries to keep herself intact under Gabriel's cruelty, and Sarah has some tough choices to make.

Rise of the Wolf

The bond between the mated four is stronger than ever; a future worth fighting for is within reach... As the moon begins to wax once more, long-awaited answers finally start to surface for our Surrey wolves, but they may come too late. The Trident have a new leader – one who will do anything to survive. And the knowledge one old woman harbours could be enough to destroy everything.

Reign of the Wolf

Lydia's mastery of her storm-wielding grows, Ryan faces his past once more in a bid to secure the happy future he glimpsed for them all, Sarah may be carrying more than she bargained for, and Lawrence has life-altering decisions to make. When the outcome is the sure extinction of the species you are responsible for, what do you sacrifice to keep it alive? (Final book of the series.)

The six books above complete the main series. If fans want to read more, they are followed by the Blood Never Lies duet and the After the Storm Novelettes.

Blood Never Lies is a duet of companion novels for Eye of the Storm, detailing what happened to certain characters (Selena in Blood Shadow, and Jasmine, Pete, and Beth in Aftershock) five years after the events of Eye of the Storm.

Blood Shadow

Five years after her life changed forever, Jennifer Warren has put her past firmly behind her. No longer a werewolf, but human, she keeps herself to herself. But her anonymous 'friend' has started sending her notes again - there's a rare total lunar eclipse on the way, threatening to turn her shadows against her. Can you ever escape what you truly are? Blood never lies.

Aftershock

Five years ago, after the death of her friend, Claire nurtured both an open wound and her friend's baby, Jasmine. She and Pete have brought her up as their own, but despite their love for their adopted daughter, fate's about to test the foundations they've built. When a boy is hurt, Jasmine's terrible legacy threatens to be revealed. Can you ever escape what you truly are? Blood never lies.

After the Storm is comprised of four novelettes that take place at relevant points in the immediate months and years after Eye of the Storm. They concentrate on the healing our characters need to go through after everything that happened. They do not need to be read to understand the main story - they are additional reads for fans that also contain 'Easter eggs' for whats is to come. The last novelette, Jewels of the Crown, crosses over with Aftershock (Blood Never Lies).

Blanket of Snow

Four months have passed since the night of the fatal storm. Lydia is mated to three and now married into the Gunvald lineage. But as January snow clouds gather overhead, Lydia's finally forced to confront the secret she's been keeping from everyone, including herself.

Twisted Roots

Five months after the storm, Taylor is the most comfortable he's ever been in his skin. No wolf is as 'wolf' as he's become, and the most joyful day of his life is around the corner. But something's pressing against the edges of his memory - something he missed in the delirious state he was in when he was bitten a year and a half ago; something 'his' he needs to find... Right back at the start.

Sins of the Father

Ryan is the only one who fully remembers the events of the storm, and the death of his mates and other loved ones. He finds himself battling flashbacks of murdering Nikolai, ensuring torturous pain upon Nikolai's mate, Carrie. As Lydia goes into labour, the imminent arrival of their first children has him questioning all his choices, and the need to find Carrie becomes a thirst he cannot quench.

Jewels of the Crown

For five years, the Gunvald Estate has been filled with happiness – six children colour their home with innocent exuberance. So when old friends come knocking, it brings the bittersweet past to the fore ... and a hidden truth. New dynamics now pave way for a darker future. Is Taylor compassionate enough to forgive Lawrence the crucial secret he kept, or does his compassion have limits after all?

A collated paperback of all four novelettes is set to be published on 26th February, 2026
